The Blowing Rock Music Festival returns for a third year to The Blowing Rock in Blowing Rock on Saturday, September 17.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and the music runs continuously from noon until sunset, with fireworks to follow (weather permitting). Tickets are $30 in advance ($40 for advance reserve seating) and $40 on festival Saturday. Kids under 12 are $10. The outdoor event will take place rain or shine.

Entertainers and groups cover a wide range of musical genres, including Americana, folk, blues, rock, jazz and soul. This year’s festival features Mitch Clark & Masten Cloer, Nautical Wheelers, The Neighbors, Carolina Ray & Cecil Palmer, Charlie Carpenter, The Harris brothers, None of the Above, Buck Haggard Band, Soul Benefactor, Carolina Gator Gumbo, Shelby Rae Moore and Wayne Henderson, with special guest appearances by the Tater Hill Mashers and, yes, Elvis!
