Christmas in the Park
Blowing Rock’s Christmas in the Park & Lighting of the Town celebration is an annual holiday event that you are sure to love. Join us for games, music and caroling, and visits with Santa. Hot chocolate will be available from local vendors right next to the park, too!

Today is warmer than we’ve seen the last week or so and the light is beautiful to get out and see the color! The colder evenings have helped colors progress and the recent rains have fed the trees so the leaves are still hanging on in most places.
National Park update during government shutdown
Blue Ridge Parkway Remains Open The Blue Ridge Parkway will remain open during the federal government shutdown, according to Blue Ridge Parkway staff and supporting organizations. Additionally, the Forest Service reports that the forestry entrance to Linville Falls on Old NC 105 will remain open, as well as other entrances
