Today’s photo is the view at the end of the Blue Ridge Parkway exit to Highway 321 South to Blowing Rock. The autumn foliage is developing well in Blowing Rock. According to our local Fall Color Guy, we’ll see peak color sometime around next week: “Sometime between the 12th and 18th should be peak color at around 3,000′ elevation, a few days earlier high up, and a week or 10 days later moving downslope.” For reference, Blowing Rock is around 3600′.
