Young People’s Global Film Series: Sing Street

During the economic recession of Dublin, Ireland in 1985, teenager Conor Lawlor is forced to adjust to a new inner-city public school, where the kids are tough and the teachers even tougher. To impress the girl of his dreams, Conor starts his own rock band with a group of nerds and non-musicians.
