All artists are donating their time to raise money for Hurricane Helene victims in the greater Banner Elk area. The concerts are organized by the non-profit Elk River Helping Hands, with proceeds distributed directly to hurricane victims in Avery and Watauga counties.

Mark your calendar for The Denim Ball at Camp Yonahnoka at Linville Golf Club in North Carolina. Guest are invited to dine, dance, bid in silent and live auctions, and enjoy the gorgeous mountain setting.
Head to the Blowing Rock Conference Center on Saturday, November 9, from 2-5 pm for an event showing appreciation to those battling cancer and those who care for them. There will be free food, live music, a silent auction, door prizes and more!

Support the Blowing Rock Community Library Association on November 29 from 11am-2pm. There will be a hot chocolate Story Time for kids at approximately 11:00am after the parade. There will also be a hand craft and quilt sale to support the Library!

“Girl Climber” Director and Filmmaker, Jon Glassberg will be present to introduce his film and participate in a short panel on the convergence of climbing, recreation, conservation, and community. Jon lived, and climbed, in Boone from 2002 – 2009 and graduated with two degrees from AppState.
