Through observation\, experimentation\, and artistic practice\, they have developed theories to define and manipulate color as both a science and a sensation. From Antiquity through the 20th century\, these evolving ideas have shaped how we see and use color in art and design. \nThis exhibition explores key milestones in the history of color theory through seven case studies\, each centered on a single work of art from BRAHM’s Permanent Collection. Alongside these works\, diagrams and historical models illustrate how color has been classified\, studied\, and understood over time.
