Featuring Stand-up Comic Dale Jones. With over 25 years in the making – Dale accentuates his machine gun style delivery with a healthy dose of animated faces and then combines that with quick improvisations and well placed physical comedy. Basically he leaves the audience wishing they had his energy. His shows are always a night you won’t soon forget.
NouN Improv Comedy has been providing Appalachian State’s campus with laughter throughout the years. The improv group performs on campus and provides a comedic outlet for students and audiences alike.
Learn to paint in a relaxed atmosphere, inspired by A. Y. Jackson's "Smart River (Alaska)". Each participant goes home with a finished work of art. All materials, including canvases, acrylic paint, brushes, and aprons, are provided.
Django Reinhardt, the legendary jazz guitarist and the music is pioneered as "Gypsy Jazz", celebrated through an annual birthday tribute concert by local musicians, The Page Brothers, consisting of Boone-based twin brothers Andy and Zack Page, performing a "Hot Club" style of jazz modeled after Reinhardt's classic ensemble, joined onstage with other impressive musicians to honor the spirit of Django!

Stroll through Blowing Rock and see all the gorgeous ice sculptures! Artisan Ice Sculptures is one of only five Master Ice Carvers in the United States. Ice sculptures will be on display in front of businesses in town. Creativity abounds with our sculptures!
Experience amazing artisans from juxtaposing backgrounds in Memorial Park on Saturday, January 24th from 10am-5pm. As a part of WinterFest, presented by Hendrick Automotive, a metal pour and our yearly ice carving demonstration will be happening simultaneously for an entirely new Fire & Ice Exhibition.
