So far, our fall season has been a bit warmer than usual. This has contributed to leaf drop on some of the trees that have already shown some color, like these old maples at Moses Cone Memorial Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is still lots of green left on the surrounding trees, as you can see. However, this pile looks ready for jumping into!
