We will close our Daily Fall Photos this season with an image from today’s Halloween Festival in downtown Blowing Rock. Several maple trees in Memorial Park are still clinging to bright foliage, though about half have dropped their leaves. That’s typical at this elevation right now. Since the best of the color has moved to lower elevations, those valley views and the drive up to Blowing Rock will feature better displays than the higher ridges here.
