The sun has returned today, and the foliage is really lighting up in the entire area. Today’s image was taken in Ashe County, where elevations are a bit lower than Blowing Rock. The color is really starting to fill in. Tomorrow, we’ll head up to higher elevations to try to catch some peak color!
