tweetsie railroad's ghost train halloween festival
Tweetsie Railroad’s annual Ghost Train® Halloween Festival is celebrating its 30th year of thrills and chills on the rails during 2019. Friday and Saturday nights from September 20 to October 26, guests will enjoy a frightfully spooky ride as the Ghost Train howls its way through the Blue Ridge Mountains with new frights and delights around every corner.
During the day, enjoy all of Tweetsie’s Wild West adventure,  rides and attractions. When the gates open at 7:30pm, ghosts and spirits fill the park and inhabit the Ghost Train! Take a stroll through the Freaky Forest and encounter dark surprises along the way. Visit the Boneyard and find your way through a 3-D Maze, a disorienting Black Hole and a mystifying Warp Tunnel. Or check out Tweetsie’s Haunted House, where 13 frightening rooms await brave visitors that dare to enter. Younger guests need not fear: the Ghost Train®Halloween Festival is safe, scary fun for all ages. Enjoy the spooktacular black light show at the Haunted Palace Saloon. Join in the lively dance party on Tweetsie’s Main Street. Take a spin on the amusement rides at the Creepy Carnival. Children can collect plenty of sweet treats while trick-or-treating throughout the park.
Tickets are $44 for adults and $38 for kids, and advance tickets are recommended as only a limited number of people are admitted each evening. Daytime tickets are separate from Ghost Train admission.
