The Polar Bear Plunge takes place at Chetola Resort every year. The brave of heart dress up and plunge into the lake to support the charity of their choice. It is free entry to watch and costs $35.00 to plunge.

The Chetola Resort is hosting the Porsche 356 Registry Concours d’Elegance – “356 By the Lake” on Saturday September 23rd between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The Porsche 356 was manufactured between 1948 and 1965 establishing Porsche as an iconic sports car brand.

At 5:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, June 11, The Reggie Buie Group, will perform under the tent at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock.
In under two hours their local expert will walk you through how to tie three different types of flies. Chetola will provide the knowledge, tools, and materials. There will be a cash bar, beer and wine.
