“Leatherwood cabins are beautiful! We had over 80 people for a family reunion and rented around 12 different cabins. A beautiful view from every cabin. We all came together at the Pavilion for dinner and fun. Trevor was amazing. Anything we needed, he was our man. There are lots of hiking trails, the pool (where we hung out a lot at), horseback riding and more. A relaxing and beautiful place to stay for anyone. August 2019”

“We may have initially picked Leatherwood Mountains as an option for the beautiful setting and fast, readily available internet connectivity, but ultimately it was the staff that sealed the deal. The common areas are well maintained and kept in great shape by a top-notch and friendly maintenance team, the Saddlebrook Grill has great convenient food options, and Trevor not only helped us find our home but has continued to go above and beyond to answer any questions since our move-in. From day one we’ve been welcomed like family, and really, who could ask for anything more. We could not be happier with our choice!”

What a wonderful weekend! While it was extremely cold, it was a delight to check into the High Horse Cabin over MLK weekend.

This is our fourth rental with Leatherwood Mountain Resort, so much is the same…extremely easy booking, great communications with Sue and her staff, easy check-in, easy check-out (except for the tears that we have to go back to the real world), and a wonderful evening with the staff and families at the on-site restaurant.

High Horse was magnificent…huge glass walls overlooking the mountains and valleys. Two fireplaces, and lots of family room space. Clean, comfortable and extremely quiet, restful, and space for our Golden Doodle to enjoy with her “parents!”.

Great place…we have already booked for the July 4th week!

Most of the folks working here have been around for years or decades. This is a testament to the leadership, everyone seems happy and it leads to better service and the huge property is a beautiful slice of paradise.

We had so much fun! The guides were awesome and they really know how to make you feel comfortable. Our group was made up of varying levels of zippers but that didn’t matter. My favorite was the 1200 ft zip over the horse pasture my son loved the suspension bridges! This is a must do if you are near leatherwood so much beauty and nature to take in! Tubing was fantastic too!
