Blowing Rock is celebrating its 28th Annual WinterFest, presented by Hendrick Automotive Group. Blowing Rock WinterFest is a four day celebration of the winter season, and all the warm pastimes people love to do when it’s cold. From the icy waters of the Polar Bear Plunge to warm drinks sipped by a fire, Blowing Rock WinterFest has it all. Due to inclement weather, many WinterFest events have been postponed this year.
There will be a free shuttle running on January 31 from 10am-5pm. It will run from Shoppes on the Parkway to Memorial Park.

This year will feature the ever popular Polar Bear Plunge, Rotary Chilly Chili Challenge, WinterFest Beer Garden, Ice Carving Demonstrations, and much more! Come enjoy the quaint, mountain town in all its festive glory and celebrate the season of winter.
The town will be lit with twinkle lights, bringing warmth and coziness after dark. Many local stores, restaurants, and attractions will be running special offers during this time as well.
