Spring is in full bloom in Blowing Rock, with vibrant colors adorning both our downtown and natural landscapes. This week, the spotlight is on the Catawba Rhododendron, adding splashes of vibrant magenta throughout town!
This Week’s Standout Color: Catawba Rhododendron
The Catawba Rhododendron (Rhododendron catawbiense) is currently showcasing its vivid pink/purple blooms. While the shrubs along the Blue Ridge Parkway haven’t yet begun their display, those here throughout downtown are making a striking statement.
