Korzelius & Sonkiss: A Duet for Piano & Bassoon

In this concert, Jordan Korzelius and Jasper Sonkiss will present a program of forgotten or otherwise obscure classical music in hopes of exposing it to a new audience. The program spans the eras of classical music, ranging from renaissance composer Giovanni Bassano to living composers such as Jeff Scott, as well as William Harbinson, a past dean of the Hayes School of Music. Throughout the concert, different instrumentations will be featured, including piano and bassoon duo, solo piano, solo accordion, and solo dulcian (the direct ancestor to the modern bassoon).
