The High Country Modern Quilt Guild was formed in 2016 for local artists who specialize in quilts with a modern twist. This week, twenty Guild members will offer creations to include wall hangings, quilted paintings, thread paintings, decorative stitched fabric bowls, placemats and table runners, baskets, rope bowls, hand bags, tote bags and one of a kind wearables. In fact, their high quality craftsmanship will fill the entire Cottage. Come learn more about the Guild, have your questions answered, and perhaps walk away with a new heirloom from your visit to Edgewood Cottage in Blowing Rock from August 21 through August 27.
