Are you ready to get outside and paint? Pack up those brushes and join NC artist, Kim Abernethy, for 3 days of plein air painting in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. In this class, Kim will share her method for creating dynamic landscape paintings outdoors. You will learn about defining intention, simplifying the landscape, and creating mood, while exploring the fundamental skills of composition, value, form, color, and edges. There will be multiple demonstrations, and plenty of time for questions, interaction, and discussion. You will come away from this class with the framework of skills necessary to capture the beauty of nature outdoors. Please note supplies are not included.
