This workshop is designed for students to create and customize their own personal limited palette, using the medium of watercolors. Students will study the properties and relationships between colors and how to use these elements to create color harmony. Students will become more familiar with the characteristics of individual colors and how they behave when they mix them. Kathy Sabbath Oravecz will also demonstrate brush techniques and review good composition. Each day students will create a watercolor painting using a different color palette designed for their personal use. All materials will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own brushes if desired. Beginner to intermediate level (some art experience preferred).
