Jim captures unique and engaging images of the landscape, culture, and people of our region. He scours mountains, woods and towns hunting for scenes that reveal the beauty, wonder and sometimes the pathos of the area and its inhabitants. Jim is drawn more and more to “intimate landscapes,” tightly framed shots that isolate some of the smaller but more intriguing elements of the landscape. Jim would love to hear your reaction to his work at Edgewood Cottage in Blowing Rock from August 26 through Sept. 1.
