One part performance, one part lecture. Jazz is Democracy is an exploration of the American-original musical genre, Jazz, and the American experiment, democracy.
The musical performance will be in conversation of how a democracy is supposed to work, people playing different roles, sharing the responsibilities, and supporting each other to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. The audience can expect approximately 15 minutes of speaking with 45 minutes of performance.
