Appalachian Ski Mountain 940 Ski Mountain Road, Blowing Rock, NCAppalachian Ski Mtn. offers the region’s only late night skiing with special “Midnight Blast” sessions, offered every Friday & Saturday night all season long, with bonus holiday sessions the week after Christmas, Dec 26-31. Note the slopes close at 11:30 on December 31 to prepare for our annual Torchlight show & Fireworks Celebration.
