Two Headed Diver: Lynne Hobaica and Rickie Barnett is an exhibition in three entangled parts, featuring the individual yet mutually-informed studio practices of Lynne Hobaica, Rickie Barnett, and their collaborative work under the moniker “Two Headed Diver.”
Alexander Hallmark (1949–2021) was an artist and longtime resident of Blowing Rock. Deeply embedded in this community, his career in the studio, though developed later in life, produced many of the works of public art that serve as visual anchors throughout this village and the wider High Country.
From October 5 through 13, guests enjoy short, guided nature walks that highlight Grandfather Mountain’s fall colors. The Fall Color Rambles take place daily, weather permitting, and are included in your admission ticket.
Visit Grandfather Mountain for a day of nature programs about animals that some consider creepy and crawly! This fun-filled celebration includes an opportunity to trick-or-treat on the mountain and then watch special Halloween enrichments be given to the animals. Included with admission.
