Combining years of meditation practice experience with his lifelong passion of living in service to others, Eric DeVere will be guiding the weekly meditation group.
Join BRAHM on Thursday, May 29, at 11 am for a talk about the Mayview Manor diorama, with artist Dan Nance. In this program, Dan will take us through his artistic practice of historically accurate works.
The Twilight Hike version will include a hike after sunset to discuss and look for the creatures that are more active after the sun goes down. The group will explore a unique forest ecosystem from top to bottom in search of salamanders, owls, flying squirrels, fireflies and any other creatures they might come across.
Join App State’s Dr. Beth Davison for a screening of five short documentaries that showcase the stories of locals. After the screening, there will be a Q&A session with filmmakers.
This popular shutterbug weekend includes presentations from top nature photographers, hands-on field courses, a friendly contest and the rare opportunity to photograph the mountain’s spectacular scenery and native animals before and after regular business hours.

Head to Grandfather to celebrate the birthdays of our resident animals with games, contests, crafts and surprises. The park’s wildlife habitat staff hosts a fun-filled afternoon for guests, as well as programs to celebrate the park’s furry and feathered inhabitants.
