Mark your calendars for the 2024 Alair Homes High Country Summer Concert Series! Hosted in Downtown Blowing Rock at Memorial Park, this year’s concert series is a food drive for @HungerHealthCoalition’s A Simple Gesture Program.

“Music on the Lawn” at The Inn at Ragged Gardens has become a much beloved outdoor concert series. Held each Friday from May through September (weather permitting), the event draws locals and visitors alike.
Blowing Rock Ale House will begin its live music series for the Summer! The music will be held at the beer garden so it is weather dependent. It will be from 2pm - 5pm.
The Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra (PRSO) is the leading professional ragtime orchestra in the United States. Under the direction of virtuoso Andrew Greene, PRSO recreates the syncopated stylings of a bygone era - Ragtime, Theater, and Dance music, along with underscoring classic silent films using an immense archive of over 15,000 original orchestral scores.

Appalachian Road Show - is a visionary acoustic ensemble, bringing new-generation interpretations of traditional Americana, bluegrass and folk songs, as well as offering innovative original music, all presented with a common thread tied directly to the heart of the Appalachian regions of the United States.
Join us for, WAKE OF THE FLOOD: A BENEFIT FOR AND BY APPALACHIAN MUSICIANS, at 7:30 PM on Friday, November 15, at the Appalachian Theatre of the High Country. This concert will support our community's recovery with proceeds benefiting the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund.
The ASU Jazz Ensemble I will be playing for us at the Appalachian Theatre. The first half of the concert will be regular big band jazz tunes. The second half will be holiday jazz music.
No partner or experience required. Wear comfortable, low heeled shoes and dress in layers. New dancers are always welcome. We have a New Dancers’ Workshop before each dance.
Free to attend, stores will be open late, venues will have local musicians, and bars will be serving specialty cocktails. Stroll around the picturesque Main Street of Blowing Rock and enjoy the festive atmosphere!
