Be sure to mark The Denim Ball on your calendar for Thursday, Sept. 5. This year's annual event will be held at Camp Yonahnoka at the Linville Golf Club.
Start the semester with a Contra Dance. Grab some friends and come on out to the dance. There's plenty of space on the floor, if you've been worried about crowds.
“Music on the Lawn” at The Inn at Ragged Gardens has become a much beloved outdoor concert series. Held each Friday from May through September (weather permitting), the event draws locals and visitors alike.
Blowing Rock Ale House will begin its live music series for the Summer! The music will be held at the beer garden so it is weather dependent. It will be from 2pm - 5pm.
Free to attend, stores will be open late, venues will have local musicians, and bars will be serving specialty cocktails. Stroll around the picturesque Main Street of Blowing Rock and enjoy the festive atmosphere!
Thursday March 6 at 6 pm join BRAHM for an artist talk with musical duo Zoe & Cloyd. In this program they will explore their musical journeys, expand upon their artistic process, and share the stories behind the songs.

No partner or experience required. Wear comfortable, low heeled shoes and dress in layers. New dancers are always welcome. We have a New Dancers’ Workshop before each dance.
This presentation and performance traces the history behind ballads from the Blue Ridge Mountains. While strongly associated with European and British Isles traditions, balladry in the Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina and southwestern Virginia reflects a broad range of cultural influences, including roots in and stories connected to African and Native American experiences.
