Through a historical journey, which included no less than 5 legendary lead singers including Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Clyde McPhatter and Ben E. King, the group’s ongoing story has covered the entire spectrum of Rock & Roll.
Since moving to Asheville, North Carolina in 2013, Alex has been a mainstay of its thriving and eclectic music community. Highly versatile among a wide variety of genres, his touch, feel, and musical depth have made him one of the most in-demand musicians on the scene.
Gina’s watercolor and acrylics work is filled with color and joy. A self-proclaimed colorist, Gina is drawn to old barns, churches, trucks and sees them through a joyful and colorful lens.
As we celebrate AASF’s 40th anniversary, this series will offer behind-the-scenes discussions with artists from the music, dance, and visual arts worlds that center around a common theme of legacy and longevity.
We will roll at 9am on Saturday, July 20th from the Valle Crucis Community Park, 2892 Broadstone Rd, Banner Elk, NC 28604. Parking is $5 and you can pay at the donation boxes located around the park.
Renowned pianists Simone Dinnerstein and Awadagin Pratt, each celebrated for their remarkable artistry, come together to present a program showcasing a selection of timeless works for two pianos.
Blowing Rock Ale House will begin its live music series for the Summer! The music will be held at the beer garden so it is weather dependent. It will be from 2pm - 5pm.
The first concert of the series is held on July 1, 2024 and runs through July 29, 2024. The concerts are located at 173 Lakeside Dr. Blowing Rock, NC 28605 and are set up in the gazebo at Broyhill Park.

“Music on the Lawn” at The Inn at Ragged Gardens has become a much beloved outdoor concert series. Held each Friday from May through September (weather permitting), the event draws locals and visitors alike.
