BRAHM is honored to celebrate the creativity and vision of Watauga County Art Educators, both working and retired. Highlighting the artistic contributions of local educators, this exhibition features works by Alyssia Ruggiero, Ashley Tate, Courtney McWhorter, Dacia Trethewey, Elle Lowry, Genal West, Kelly Blake, Lindsey Postlethwait, and Lori Hill.
Santa is coming to the Original Mast General Store. The store and the area surrounding it sustained damage during Hurricane Helene on September 27th. To bring some normalcy, hope, and holiday cheer to the area, the Mast Store will be hosting Santa again this year!
Head over to the Blowing Rock Attraction to see Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday or Sunday starting November 30 and running through December 22nd. Children 12 and under are free with an accompanying adult. The attraction will be closed on Christmas Day.
The slopes will be open from 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday, December 25. The day will serve as a fundraiser for Appalachian Ski Mtn’s ski patrol. Customers who purchase their tickets online before midnight on Dec. 24 will receive a 50 percent discount!

Zine-making is the opportunity to develop different chapters in the Book of Life. Creating a zine from folding the paper to finishing off the leather button closure provides a space for reflection and creativity.
Don't hibernate- celebrate! Join the entire village of Blowing Rock as we celebrate the fun side of winter! Lots of entertainment for all, from the icy Polar Bear Plunge to the Chili Challenge. Many events are free to attend, some are ticketed.
Make time for yourself on Wednesday evenings for a weekly mindfulness and meditation Group. The gatherings will explore meditation, mindfulness and consciousness. Combining years of meditation practice experience with his lifelong passion of living in service to others, Eric DeVere will be guiding the weekly meditation group.
Head to Mystery Hill for a series of vibrant weekends where local vendors, food trucks, and musicians come together to uplift and rejuvenate our community. Their goal is to offer these marketplaces every weekend depending on vendor availability.
