Django Reinhardt, the legendary jazz guitarist and the music is pioneered as "Gypsy Jazz", celebrated through an annual birthday tribute concert by local musicians, The Page Brothers, consisting of Boone-based twin brothers Andy and Zack Page, performing a "Hot Club" style of jazz modeled after Reinhardt's classic ensemble, joined onstage with other impressive musicians to honor the spirit of Django!
Join App Terrain Park, Alpine Ski Shop, and Roxy for a special session Saturday Night, January 24. Registration will be from 5-6:30 in the Alpine Ski Shop, and the event will begin at 7pm.

“Girl Climber” Director and Filmmaker, Jon Glassberg will be present to introduce his film and participate in a short panel on the convergence of climbing, recreation, conservation, and community. Jon lived, and climbed, in Boone from 2002 – 2009 and graduated with two degrees from AppState.
