Join BRAHM for an fun and engaging event with exhibiting artist Anna Buckner & BRAHM Curator of Exhibitions & Collections, Ian Gabriel Wilson. This program will be one part cocktail party, one part artist talk, and one part gallery tour.
Head over to Chetola Resort on Friday, January 24th, 2025 between 12-7pm and create your Gingerbread House Masterpiece! Kits are $25 a piece with extra supplies available for sale the day of the event.
Learn to paint in a relaxed atmosphere, inspired by Arthur Lismer’s “A Clear Winter." Each participant goes home with a finished work of art. All materials, including canvasses, acrylic paint, brushes, and aprons, are provided. A trained instructor will lead you step-by-step.
The Polar Bear Plunge takes place at Chetola Resort every year. The brave of heart dress up and plunge into the lake to support the charity of their choice. It is free entry to watch and costs $35.00 to plunge.

This year the Rotary Chilly Chili Challenge is taking place at the Blowing Rock School Gym! Participating restaurants will be serving their special chili on Saturday, January 27th and donating a portion of the proceeds to local nonprofits!

WinterFest’s motto is “Don’t Hibernate, Celebrate!” and that’s precisely what we’ll be doing at the WinterFest Beer Garden. The Shred for the Cup Series is the benchmark competition series in the region, with 3 events held throughout the winter season that test skiers & snowboarders skills in a variety of park disciplines (Rail Jam, Big Air, and Slopestyle).
