With their microwavable bacon cooker, you can cook your bacon deliciously crispy every time. They will be showcasing their bacon cooker during WinterFest and giving out samples to show how excellent the bacon comes out.
The USASA series is back once again in NC on January 27 & 28! This event series is open to both skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a seasoned ripper or beginner, we invite you to come out and experience a well run, super fun, and safe event series this winter.
The Polar Bear Plunge takes place at Chetola Resort every year. The brave of heart dress up and plunge into the lake to support the charity of their choice. It is free entry to watch and costs $35.00 to plunge.
This year the Rotary Chilly Chili Challenge is taking place at the Blowing Rock School Gym! Participating restaurants will be serving their special chili on Saturday, January 27th and donating a portion of the proceeds to local nonprofits!

Join us for the Annual WinterFest Beer Garden! This year’s event will feature fantastic local breweries from all around. WinterFest’s motto is “Don’t Hibernate, Celebrate!” and that’s precisely what we’ll be doing at the WinterFest Beer Garden. Join us at the Meadowbrok Inn in the Four Seasons Ball Room to sample the special selections of beer from our Local Breweries.

Join Girls Go Shred for their first Ladies Park Night of the season on Saturday, February 3rd from 7pm-9pm at Appalachian Ski Mountain! Admission to the event is free with the purchase of a lift ticket and open to women of all ages and abilities, both snowboarders and skiers.
