WAMY Community Action and The Embers Hotel present: Double WAMY - A Blowing Rock Murder Mystery Night
Ever wonder what makes an artist tick? From where do they get their inspirations? How do their life experiences translate into great works of art? And how do they make art with a message that matters?
JMcLaughlin and your hostess, Virginia Ford of the Children’s Council, would like to invite you to shop for a cause. 10% of the proceeds will benefit The Children’s Council of Watauga County.
Head to BRAHM and take a moment for tea, for contemplation, for art, and for community. Artist Eric Serritella will perform a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to a soundtrack provided by pipa virtuoso Min Xiao-Fen.
Advanced Placement US History students at Watauga High School researched different people, locations, and organizations using primary and secondary sources, and created both this exhibit and a digital tour/history.

Are You Ready For It? A Taylor Experience, recreates the magic of the Eras Tour in a spectacular, unforgettable show starring Traci Marie as Taylor. Traci’s attention to detail will not go unnoticed by Swifties. Her authentic costumes, mannerisms, and voice embody the essence of Taylor Swift.
Thomas McLamb is an experimental guitarist with a background in punk, hardcore, noise, and ambient sound design. His approach to music, combining both guitars and synthesizers, is inspired by other experimental guitar players like Derek Bailey, Jim O'Rourke, and Thurston Moore as well as avant-garde composers like Roland Kayn, Morton Subotnick, and Éliane Radigue.
