BRAHM is honored to celebrate the creativity and vision of Watauga County Art Educators, both working and retired. Highlighting the artistic contributions of local educators, this exhibition features works by Alyssia Ruggiero, Ashley Tate, Courtney McWhorter, Dacia Trethewey, Elle Lowry, Genal West, Kelly Blake, Lindsey Postlethwait, and Lori Hill.
Dail Dixon, FAIA, is an architect, craftsman, and a modernist at heart. This installation, featuring works from his woodworking studio, explores how this celebrated North Carolina architect, known for his innovative design sensibilities, translates modernist principles into playful, functional artworks.
Head over to the Blowing Rock Attraction to see Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday or Sunday starting November 30 and running through December 22nd. Children 12 and under are free with an accompanying adult. The attraction will be closed on Christmas Day.
Santa is coming to the Original Mast General Store. The store and the area surrounding it sustained damage during Hurricane Helene on September 27th. To bring some normalcy, hope, and holiday cheer to the area, the Mast Store will be hosting Santa again this year!
The slopes will be open from 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday, December 25. The day will serve as a fundraiser for Appalachian Ski Mtn’s ski patrol. Customers who purchase their tickets online before midnight on Dec. 24 will receive a 50 percent discount!
