Are you ready to get outside and paint? Pack up those brushes and join NC artist, Kim Abernethy, for 3 days of plein air painting in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. In this class, Kim will share her method for creating dynamic landscape paintings outdoors.
Join App State’s Dr. Carol Kline to answer the questions: What does sustainability mean in tourism? How can we achieve more of it? And why would we even want to?
The community band will be playing their hard practiced pieces in the Gazebo at Memorial Park from 2-4 pm on the last Sunday of the month.

Head over to the original Mast General Store to enjoy FREE popcorn throughout the day and join in on a special tour of the Original Mast Store led by Lisa Cooper, who spent four years living in the store when her parents re-opened the historic location in the 1980s. Tours are limited to 15 people and are scheduled at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
High tea with all the trimmings, presented in a private home in downtown Blowing Rock. Dress tea party festive! Join BRAHM for another Square Dance!
The dance will take place in the Wilson Education Center at BRAHM.
If you have never square danced before or are a little rusty there will be instruction from 6 pm - 6:30 pm. Then the dance will kick off at 6:30 and last until about 8 pm.
