Join us in Blowing Rock for the Holiday Stroll, a celebration of winter and the Christmas season in December. It’s like a town-wide holiday open house! Shops are open late, and a number of special guests and activities will make the glowing streets even more festive.

Get photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Look for them around town! 4-8pm.
Performances
Pickin’ Thistles at Blowing Rock Art & History Museum, 5-8pm
Look for strolling carolers too, and join them in song! 5-7pm
Activities
Winter Art Fair at Blowing Rock Art & History Museum. Browse art by local artisans, and find one-of-a-kind gifts to purchase. 5-8pm
Live Nativity Scene (with live animals) at Rumple Memorial Church. Stop by for hot cider and cookies, and take a photo with the scene. 5-7pm.
Storie Street Grille will be hosting a Patio Pop-Up Shop where they will be selling wine, hot chocolate bombs, and more from local artisans!
Fresh Wreath & Greenery Market at Take Heart, through 8pm.
The Festival of Lights at Chetola Resort. Drive through and walk among the lights to wrap up your evening! 5:30-9pm
Tasty Treats
The Speckled Trout Restaurant & Bottle Shop will be featuring unique drinks! Check out Mint Condition (Hot chocolate, vodka, peppermint syrup, kapali) or the Spice, Spice Baby (Gin, Spiced Cranberry syrup, lemon, Prosecco).
Sunset & Vine will be featuring Holiday Wine Flights- specially curated selections for the season!
Blue Deer will be offering a specialty cookie sandwich with red velvet cookies and peppermint ice cream!
Jerky Outpost will be offering a limited Jerky Tasting! (See store for details.)
