At check-in, guests will meet inn manager, Darren, and his Shi Tzu, Zoe. Darren has worked at Cliff Dwellers Inn for four years and is the go-to person on site. Whether it’s cleaning a room or taking care of maintenance, Darren is there daily to help make guests’ stay in Blowing Rock comfortable and relaxing. He enjoys the scenic drive to Cliff Dwellers Inn every day and takes great pride in his work. Zoe also takes her job as greeter very seriously and is happy to see you arrive.
With family friendly options of various sizes, the rooms are quite large, and a couple of apartment type rentals are also available on site. Darren works very hard to make the booking flexible and meet the needs of each individual group and guest. The inn was built in 1957 and offers a retro 60s vibe that harkens back to a time when the town was even smaller.
Located a little less than a mile from downtown, Cliff Dwellers Inn is also convenient for guests as it’s minutes from several notable attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, App Ski Mountain, The Blowing Rock, and more.
