The Blue Ridge Parkway is currently open in our area from Deep Gap (Milepost 280.5) to the Linville Falls Community (Milepost 317.5).
Blowing Rock is located at milepost 294.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is getting some much needed repairs in 2026. This work begins in mid-March and is expected to be complete in fall of 2026. Please note that closures will be staggered in the NC High Country area. Detours will be in use so you can still access your favorite Blue Ridge Parkway features as much as possible.
