Whether it's to take a photo with the Jessie statue out front, or to stop in and see the card catalog, the Blowing Rock Community Library is a favorite local spot. It was established in 1923 and is over 100 years old! The library is partnering with the Blowing Rock Historical Society to house family genealogical records for the area. Included in the collection are records for the Lentz, Norris, Coffey, and Dula families. The library also has a variety of reference materials for Blowing Rock and Watauga County available.
