The first North Carolina distillery to operate a location in Watauga County following prohibition. Copper Barrel Outpost will include a souvenir shop, full-service restaurant, and craft cocktail bar. Copper Barrel intends to continue their tradition of supporting other local businesses by sourcing as many ingredients and products as possible from local farms, mills and other purveyors -such as the Ramblin Poppy butcher shop in West Jefferson, NC. Tours will be offered daily to those eager to learn how Copper Barrel’s unique direct steam-injected distillation method enables them to produce their world-renown spirits. The new establishment will also feature two rooms that will be available for special events such as cocktail classes, trivia nights, business meetings and birthday parties. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating in a comfortably rustic yet upscale atmosphere. The Copper Barrel Distillery (also located in the Town of North Wilkesboro, NC) will continue to be the primary manufacturing facility where their craft spirits and other goods are produced for world-wide distribution.
