Now offering tipi & cabin rentals along with rustic, remote, private tent & RV camping. Just north of Boone on 155 acres of pristine mountain land, a few miles from the New River. Sites are limited for a secluded experience. Hiking, fishing & private bath house.

One mile from Boone city limits. Sites for trailers, pop-ups & tents. Sleeping cabins. Cable tv, shade, stream through campground, fishing, playground, recreation room, camp store, campfires, hot showers, laundry. Pets with leashes. Open Apr 1-Nov 1.

Open year-round. On slope of Grandfather Mountain bordered by Watauga River at 3,200 ft. Within 15 miles of all major area attractions & ski resorts. Full hookup sites; primitive tent sites; furnished cabin rentals; one camping cabin. Three bathhouses, camp store, firewood, ice, laundry, hiking trails & playground. Pets allowed on leash in campground, not in cabin rentals.

Milepost 296 - The campground at Julian Price Memorial Park offers tent and RV sites (no hookups) with lakeside and wooded locations, restrooms, drinking water, grills, and picnic areas. During the summer, rangers present programs on various topics at the amphitheater located in the campground. Parkway campgrounds are open May-October with a per-night charge.
