BLOWING ROCK HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Blowing Rock Historical Society (BRHS) is a non-profit community service organization. Our number one goal is to bring our rich and colorful history to life for our community and for our visitors. We present our history in a way that is fun and engaging. Examples include our 1888 Museum in Memorial Park, dedicated to our history of tourism, and the Blowing Rock History Walk, twenty-one engaging history stations on Laurel Lane and around Broyhill Lake. Edgewood Cottage, on Main Street and next door to BRAHM is the location for the popular summer Artists in Residence program, and it serves as a museum the remainder of the year. For more information and some great history and photos, visit our web site. www.blowingrockhistoricalsociety.com
