The K-9s In Flight Frisbee dogs are returning to Tweetsie Railroad this season to amaze and entertain guests with their flips and tricks. Show included with ticket price, seating is first come first served.

“Music on the Lawn” at The Inn at Ragged Gardens has become a much beloved outdoor concert series. Held each Friday from May through September (weather permitting), the event draws locals and visitors alike.
Children Ages 2-8 and their parents are welcome to join us for stories, rhymes and fun! This event is free and open to the public.
The first concert of the series is on June 30, 2025 and runs through July 28, 2025. The concerts are located at 173 Lakeside Dr. Blowing Rock, NC 28605 and are set up in the gazebo at Broyhill Park.

On Animal Enrichment Day, guests see firsthand how Grandfather Mountain cares for its resident animals. An enrichment is a special treat, new toy or even an unfamiliar scent given to the animals to break up their routines and help keep them active and intellectually stimulated.
This tour has a lot of hiking downhill to the creek, but is open to ages 7+. Make sure to bring old clothing, a change of clothing, sun block, a shade source, water, digging tools, and a bucket for collecting. Finding gold, citrine, topaz, and sapphire.
Junior Naturalist Program activities throughout the day will be provided specifically for children ages 5-12, but all ages are welcome!
