Essentially self taught as a painter, Frederick “Craig” Franz has been creating art for the last 17 years. Studying art in college led to a brief career as a jeweler/craftsman and then onto his forty year career as a dental technician fabricating and sculpting porcelain crowns and bridgework.
Head to The Perry Car Barn on Thursday, Sept. 7, for an elegant celebration featuring live music, a silent auction, wine provided by Sunset & Vine and delicious fare from The Best Cellar, plus a chance to view the impressive Perry collection of vintage cars. Proceeds support improvements at Moses H. Cone Memorial Park.

The Chetola Resort is hosting the Porsche 356 Registry Concours d’Elegance – “356 By the Lake” on Saturday September 23rd between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The Porsche 356 was manufactured between 1948 and 1965 establishing Porsche as an iconic sports car brand.
