Each year, the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum presents a Summer Lecture & Luncheon, focused on a topic of interest for our members and friends. The 2020 Summer Lecture and Luncheon features well-known speaker, magazine editor, and flower arrangement specialist, Margot Shaw.

Dr. Jim Hamilton is Watauga County's Director of Cooperative Extension. For the last ten years, he's been huntin', plantin', transplanting, consuming, and teaching workshops about ginseng. Children ages 6 - 10 are invited to join us for creative art-making activities through a variety of media, from watercolor to clay. Each week features a famous artist, book, or theme to serve as inspiration and guidance for the art-making activity.
Preschool-age children and a parent/guardian are invited to Doodlebug Club — a fun, educational art program focused on basic art skills (holding your paintbrush, identifying primary colors, etc.).
