Join App State’s Dr. Neva J. Specht for an in-depth look at this storied road spanning 469 miles. Through a bit of history and a few stories about how the parkway came to be, this talk focuses on the origins, the people who promoted the parkway as well as those who fought against it, and how the Moses and Bertha Cone estate became one of the most visited attractions along the Parkway.

Learn how to create your own mixed-media pet portrait in a relaxed atmosphere. Using tissue paper and acrylic paint you can make a fun, colorful portrait of your beloved pet or favorite animal.

Dress tea party festive!  Proceeds from June event to benefit Mercy Ships and Rescue Life; July event proceeds go to Mercy Ships and Water for life. Join BRAHM for another Square Dance!

The dance will take place in the Wilson Education Center at BRAHM.

If you have never square danced before or are a little rusty there will be instruction from 6 pm - 6:30 pm. Then the dance will kick off at 6:30 and last until about 8 pm.

Todd Wright Returns to Edgewood Cottage
