The Blowing Rock Art and History Museum (BRAHM) presents its 11th annual Blowing Rock Art & Antiques Show Friday, July 28 through Sunday, July 30. The show, which was started in 2006, has grown to be the Museum’s largest event, bringing in dealers from all over the region.

Lee Carol Giduz, BRHAM Director said, “This is a signature event for us and we are looking forward to this year. We have new vendors participating, along with many of our longstanding attendees, more items for sale than ever, and we’ve opened a new coffee shop to improve the experience for visitors. We expect this to be a banner year.” Proceeds from the Art & Antiques Show go directly to the museum, helping fund year-round programming and children’s field trips, along with the Museum’s Community Galleries.

Art & Antiques Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. A three-day pass for the show is $15, with single-day passes costing $8 for Friday or Saturday and $5 for Sunday. There will be a special Preview Party on Thursday, July 28, with an opportunity to be the first to purchase items for sale. Preview Party tickets are $75; an additional $10 includes a three-day pass. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or by phone at 828.295.9099.

The event includes more than 5,000 square feet of show space with antique dealers from along the east coast offering furnishings, porcelain, jewelry, silver, art and more. For a complete list of item categories and detailed information about the show, visit blowingrockmuseum.org.

The Art & Antiques Show weekend also includes other noteworthy and visit-worthy events and activities that epitomize the diversity and attractiveness of Blowing Rock in mid-summer, where average highs and lows during the weekend are 75 and 48 degrees respectively. These include the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show (Hunter Jumper), The
Symphony by the Lake at Chetola and the Tour of Homes . For more information, visit
