Today’s view is from along Highway 221 by the Blue Ridge Parkway access in Blowing Rock. In this spot, most of the leaves have dropped. While there are still some nice displays around town, at this point in the foliage season the most colorful displays are below 3000′ in elevation. Overlooks provide a great view of color in lower elevations!
