Pops of color can be seen around the Appalachian State University campus, where young maple trees are showing the most vibrancy. Fall color is coming along at elevations around Boone and Blowing Rock, with much of the foliage still waiting to shift. It’s going to be a beautiful scene over the next couple of weeks!
