An incredibly clear day dawned after a stormy Monday. And we still have leaves! Flood waters had receded in most areas by morning, too. The Blue Ridge Parkway is still prime for leaf-viewing, and these images show vibrant color still displaying on trees near Blowing Rock’s elevation. Developing color at lower elevations can be seen in the second photo.
