Torrential rains led to localized flooding in towns and neighborhoods today. Once the storm broke, however, blue skies were back almost instantly. As many areas had to wait for waters to recede through the evening, it was surprising to see that the heavy rains and winds didn’t strip all the colorful leaves from the trees.
